Art Plaza Cultural Center is a popular school in Bay Ridge Brooklyn. Established in 1989, we are staffed by an all professional staff of teachers. We provide wild variety of dances and private music lessons to a large enrollment of students.
We are expanding and are looking for several Ballet, Jazz, Tap and Latin/Ballroom Dance teachers. PART-TIME WITH POTENTIAL FULL-TIME AVAILABLE. Most classes are scheduled on Weekends, and few weekday classes are after the school hours.
The applicant ideally should have:
A degree special in Dance performance or education or be close to finishing a degree preferably.
Or at least two years of professional teaching experience.
Relate well to students of all ages and levels.
Teach a range of styles, and
Strong Classical Ballet is a Requirement!
Reliability, professionalism, and strong communication
skills.
Priority consideration on multiple style dance teacher.
